Officers observed a subject removing trash from a City owned trash can in the 3200 block of Pico Blvd. Subject was found to have a no bail warrant for a weapons/explosive charge. He was taken into custody and during a search of his person, a glass pipe used to smoke narcotics was found. Patwyn Michael Nixon, 37, from Santa Monica was arrested for theft of refuse container, possession of smoking paraphernalia and a warrant. He was denied bail.
