The City of Santa Monica Dispatch Center received a call from Nordstrom on 2nd and Broadway for a suspect being detained by their Loss Prevention staff for shoplifting. The suspect, identified as 40 year-old Alan Wane Nater, was observed on survellaince video taking multiple items from the 3rd floor men’s section before exiting without paying. Nater was arrested and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.
