An ADT employee reported seeing a vehicle whose driver appeared to be under the influence. Officers responded to the corner of Ocean Ave. and San Vicente and conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. The Officers noticed that the driver showed signs of intoxication and identified a bag of pills in her vehicle that appeared to be Xanax. The driver later admitted to taking medication and smoking approximately 1-2 joints of marijuana. Lisa Susan Clapperton was ultimately arrested for 23152(f) V.C. - Driving while impaired by Drugs.
