On June 27, 2018 at about 1:16 a.m.
While patrolling the area of 23rd Street and Idaho Avenue, an officer saw a subject pushing a shopping cart in an alley. As the subject saw the officer, he began to walk away swiftly from the officer. The subject walked in a carport and tried to hide in between several cars. Officers stopped the subject and placed him under arrest for possession of a “CVC” shopping cart. Victor Galindo, 28, from Los Angeles, was issued a citation for appropriation of lost property.
