SMPD and SMCPD Officers were dispatched to a call about a stolen vehicle in the Burger King parking lot. A male driver, Marco Antonio Ramirez, was located along with a female companion who reported that Ramirez had borrowed the vehicle from a friend. After running a computer check, Officers confirmed that the vehicle was reported as stolen. Officers questioned and released the female companion, while Ramirez was booked and cited out for 10851(a) VC- taking vehicle without consent.
