On September 29 at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Two SMPD officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of 4th Street for a strong armed robbery in progress. Per the caller, a male attempted to steal a necklace from a male victim. All parties were reported to still be on scene at the time of the call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim and received information regarding the necklace stolen along with a suspect description. It was determined that the suspect had recently fled the area and was heading towards the train platform near 4th and Colorado. Officers located the suspect on the train where he was detained and ultimately arrested for 211 PC – Robbery. In Custody: Edward Zaccheo Bail: $50,000
