Downtown Services officers responded to the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue to deal with a person who was yelling and trying to grab people. Officers were able to locate the subject and they noticed he was slurring his speech, had reddened and watery eyes and smelled of alcohol. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to jail. Wendall William Lewis, 43, homeless, was arrested for public intoxication. His bail was set at $250.
