The victim was in the 1500 block of Ocean inside Palisades Park. He was upset about having to pay taxes and was yelling out profanities about the United States. The suspect came up to him and started to strike him in the face with his fists. The attack was unprovoked and the victim did not know the suspect. Sam Davis, 23, from Gardena was arrested for battery. Bail was set at $20,000.
