Officers went to the 7-11 Store in the 1600 block of Santa Monica. A male subject was being detained by store security for trying to pass a counterfeit $20 dollar bill. The same suspect had been in the store earlier trying to buy items with the same counterfeit $20 bill. James Anthony Morrill, 26, homeless, was arrested for the counterfeit money. Bail was set at $5,000.
