On Sunday, October 25 at approximately 2:02 p.m.
An SMPD Patrol Officer was waved down by a subject on the 2000 block of Olympic Blvd. The subject informed the Officer that an individual was inside his apartment complex stealing packages. The Officer requested backup unit and entered the building. The Officer then came across an individual inside the elevator who matched the description he had been given and was holding multiple packages. Upon speaking to the Suspect the Officer determined that he did not live in the building and was holding multiple packages that did not belong to him. As backup units arrived, they conducted door knocks in each apartment where the packages had been taken from and determined that the packages had been taken without consent. Dandre Taylor was arrested and booked on a 459 PC- Burglary.
