On Saturday, September 12 at approximately 7:30 p.m.

LAPD requested assistance from SMPD in retrieving a stolen vehicle that had been taken during a hot prowl. A Suspect had entered a home In the Los Angeles area while the owner of the vehicle was sleeping, taken the car keys, and stole the victim’s vehicle. Using GPS technology, LAPD located the vehicle near the 1100 block of Berkeley. Several SMPD officers assisted in completing a high-risk felony stop. Upon further inspection, the driver of the vehicle appeared to be asleep. Upon awaking he complied to officers’ commands and was booked for 10851 (A)-CVC- Stolen Vehicle. Peter Donkorth Jr. was booked for stealing the vehicle and it was returned to its rightful owner.
