On July 11 at approximately 12:33 p.m.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of Navy Street regarding a burglary in progress. The reporting party, and resident of the home, was away however was monitoring three subjects, wearing sweatshirts and carrying backpacks inside his residence through his NEST camera system. Officers quickly arrived to the residence and encountered the suspects who were now in the garage. One of the suspects ran and was shortly after detained in front of the residence. Officers learned that all three of these subjects were the same suspects that burglarized this same home on July 7. During that arrest, the suspects took the victim’s keys to his vehicles. It appears that the suspects returned with the keys and may have been planning on taking the vehicle during this incident. Incident to arrest, officers searched the suspects backpacks and located jewelry and other stolen property belonging to the victim. All three male juvenile suspects were arrested for burglary.
