Officers were dispatched to the area of Lincoln and Marine for an attempted robbery. Investigation revealed it was not an attempted robbery. Without provocation, the suspect swung a paint can at the victim’s head missing her by inches. The victim ran away from the suspect. Officers located the suspect in the area of 2nd and Marine. Ricardo Daniel Kitt, 32, homeless, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, providing false identification to the police and a parole violation. He was denied bail.
