On June 16, at about 5:58 a.m.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress in the area of the 600 block of 16th Street. Residents reported that the suspect was inside the residence and quickly ran to the balcony to wait for the officer’s arrival. Officers arrived on scene, quickly made entry into the residence and located a female hiding inside a restroom. Officers learned that the suspect used force to break open a rear sliding door to the residence. Precious Angel Patterson, 21, homeless, was arrested for burglary. Bail was set at $50,000.
