On September 15 at approximately 9:24 p.m.

An SMPD night K9 officer responded to a radio call of “vandalism now” near the 2200 Block of Broadway. The reporting party relayed to the civilian dispatcher that the suspect was still at the location and was throwing objects at the entryway glass doors. Upon arrival, the officer encountered a suspect standing on the sidewalk near the broken glass door. While the suspected appear to be very agitated, the officer was able to communicate calmly with the suspect and gain compliance. Upon checking the identification provided, it was determined the suspect provided a false name and was later positively identified as Anthony Ledesma, 32 years old. Gonzalez was booked for 594(a)(2)pc – Vandalism, transported to the Santa Monica Jail and issued a citation.
