Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Wilshire Blvd. regarding a strongarm robbery. The victims relayed they had been sitting on the patio eating lunch when the suspect approached them demanding their money and simulating he had a gun. Although the victims did not see a gun, they feared he may have one and gave the subject money. The subject left and the victims told the cashier what had occurred. The victim noticed that there was a picture of the subject attached to their tip jar describing him as an individual who had stolen a tip jar recently. Later that day, an Officer encountered an individual matching the subject’s description at Reed park and Jamarr Larue Daniels was arrested for robbery.
