On Jan. 17 at approximately 11 a.m., officers were dispatched to Vons in the 700 block of Broadway regarding a possible fight in progress involving a male subject and six other individuals.
Upon arrival, a store security guard led officers to a restrained subject, identified as Moses Gideon Flying, 25. A search of Flying revealed he was concealing a liquor bottle. Store staff and patrons had restrained him as he attempted to exit the store with the item.
He was placed under arrest by officers for robbery. Witnesses also identified a female suspect who had fled the scene. Lucia Trejo, 51, was later arrested by officers and taken into custody. No bail was issued.
