*Santa Monica Pier Restoration Corporation wants you*

Do you have graphic design talents? Are you waiting for your shot at a career in the creative world? If so, the They — once again — invite talented student, amateur and professional designers to submit their vision for the 23rd Annual Twilight Dance Series in the fifth annual poster contest. The winning design becomes the primary communications piece for the 10-week concert series, used in display advertising, posters, flyers, banners and more.

The artist who creates the winning design will receive $750 and their design becomes a collector’s item and keepsake from the 23-year-old Series. In addition, the winner will receive a VIP package for the summer including a backstage pass to the Series. Thanks to the support of Santa Monica Place Mall, all designs will be on display in the Community Focus Gallery on the 1st floor of Santa Monica Place Mall from April 16 through May 20 to recognize the hard work of all the entrants.

All entries are due by April 6\. This year’s winner will be chosen via a secure Internet poll on www.santamoni-capier.org. Visitors to the site will only be able to vote one time, for one poster. Voting will take place throughout late April and early May and the winner will be announced at the 2007 Santa Monica Festival in Clover Park on May 20th.

Past winners include Stephanie Donon with her work, “Dancers,” Carrie Carmody with “Hitchcock;” and two-time winner Jeff Verges’ “A Tribute to the Classics” and “Surf’s Up in Santa Monica.”

Contest rules, design specifications and entry forms are available at www.santamonicapier.org under What’s Happening. A gallery of past posters is also available for reflection and inspiration. Entries are due at the Pier’s offices by April 6, 2007\. More information is available by calling (310) 458-8901.
