Santa Monica residents who stopped by the Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Pier this Halloween weekend spotted this year’s Día de los Muertos Art Installation by artist Ricardo Soltero. Locals visiting the larger-than-life La Catrina sculptures also spotted Santa Monica High School students’ own altars, which sought to celebrate the life and death of friends and family.
