Dodgers Pep Rally Set for Third Street Promenade

Downtown Santa Monica Inc. and the City of Santa Monica will host the inaugural "We Believe in Blue" Los Angeles Dodgers World Series pep rally on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Third Street Promenade.

The rally, scheduled for Oct. 23 in the 1300 block of the promenade, aims to transform the Westside into what organizers call "a sea of Dodger blue and fan pride" as the team prepares for the 2025 World Series.

The event will feature a main stage with a special guest emcee leading crowd cheers, along with an entertainment zone beer activation and a 360-degree fan photo booth. A centerpiece 8-foot-tall baseball installation will allow fans to sign and take photos.

Organizers plan to illuminate the promenade and Santa Monica Pier's Ferris wheel in blue lighting as part of a coordinated display across the area's skyline.

The pep rally launches a week-long celebration throughout downtown Santa Monica that will include special promotions, giveaways and nightly lighting tributes during the World Series.

The rally location will be anchored around what organizers are calling the "Dodgers Clubhouse" on the promenade.

Expected visuals include crowds of fans dressed in Dodgers gear, fan chants echoing through the promenade, the giant baseball covered with signatures, and the Santa Monica skyline glowing blue.

Downtown Santa Monica Inc., a nonprofit organization that manages the Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place, partnered with the city to organize the event. The organization works to enhance the economic vitality of downtown Santa Monica through marketing, events and business development initiatives.

The Third Street Promenade, a pedestrian-only shopping and entertainment district, stretches for three blocks between Wilshire Boulevard and Broadway in downtown Santa Monica.

This marks the first time Santa Monica has hosted such a large-scale rally for the Dodgers during a World Series run. The event comes as the team seeks its second World Series championship in six years.

The celebration reflects the broader regional enthusiasm for the Dodgers throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding areas, with municipalities across the region planning similar tributes and watch parties.
