Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. will bring an Irish-themed street celebration to the Third Street Promenade on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. as part of the city's newly established Entertainment Zone.

The free event, St. Paddy's Day on the Promenade, will take over the 1300 block of Third Street Promenade (south side), transforming it into a festive gathering space featuring live music, games, photo opportunities and giveaways.

The Entertainment Zone is a city-approved initiative designed to support outdoor drinking, activate nightlife programming, boost foot traffic and drive economic activity for local businesses. The St. Paddy's Day celebration marks one of the first major events under the new designation.

Shamrock Sean and the Irish Cabbage Band will perform three hours of live Irish and popular music throughout the evening. Additional programming includes a themed photo booth, interactive lawn and table games, on-stage trivia and an outdoor bar.

The event coincides with the Santa Monica St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl, which highlights local bars and encourages attendees to continue celebrating throughout Downtown Santa Monica. Pub crawl tickets are available at crawlwith.us/santamonica/stpattys.

Overhead flags, stage signage and interactive installations will decorate the block for the occasion.

Admission is free. Guests can RSVP at Eventbrite.com/e/St-Paddys-Day-Celebration-on-the-Promenade-Tickets. For more information, visit DowntownSM.com or follow @DTSantaMonica on Instagram and Facebook, and @DowntownSantaMonica on TikTok.
