Venice Art Walk’s 25th anniversary celebration cocktail party and art auction will be held May 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The auction will take place in artist Laddie John Dill’s studio, located at 1625 Electric Ave. in Venice. Valet parking will be provided.

The auction will feature works by artists Chuck Arnoldi, Larry Bell, Billy Al Bengston, Robbie Conal, Woods Davy, Laddie John Dill, Mark Di Suvero, Ron Griffin, Dennis Hopper, Peter Lodato, Eric Orr Studios, Astrid Preston and others.

The auction raises funds for the Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the United States, which provides medical care to uninsured individuals and families in Los Angeles County.

Ed Beardsley of Bonhams and Butterfields will be the featured auctioneer. To purchase tickets priced at $150 per person or $250 per couple, contact (310) 392- 9255 or visit www.venicefamilyclinic.org. The anniversary celebration is a prelude to this year’s Venice Art Walk held the weekend of May 22-23.

In honor of the Art Walk’s 25th anniversary year, artist and actor Dennis Hopper, a resident of Venice, is serving as honorary chair with his wife, actress Victoria Duffy, and has donated a work of art for the fundraiser.

Art walk posters and shirts will be available.
