K12 will present a free community event featuring Emmy Award-winning actress Tabitha Brown Tuesday, October 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Beach Park 1, 2600 Barnard Way.

Brown, known as "Ms. Tab," hosts the popular children's series "Tab Time," which combines storytelling, crafts and life lessons. The show has garnered millions of views on YouTube and maintains a loyal family following nationwide.

The event celebrates K12's new curriculum partnership with Tab Time, bringing the content into Pre-K and kindergarten classrooms. K12 is the leading national provider of online education, offering tuition-free public schools for kindergarten through high school and serving millions of students over 25 years.

Families can participate in hands-on activities including crafting, planting and reading corners. The event also features a costume party, photo opportunities and community booths with local organizations and vendors. Brown will conduct a live story time at 4 p.m.

All activities are free and designed to reflect Tab Time's approach to learning through literacy, nature and community engagement.
