Starting at 6 p.m., the event will feature artists such as KCRW DJs Jason Eldredge and Scott Silva, spoken word from Rubén Martínez, an artmaking workshop with Jamie Sweetman, and screenings of music videos from Film Independent’s L.A. film festival.

Featured artist Regan Farquhar, better known as Busdriver, has built an ironclad rep for being a chop-maestro and style monster. Busdriver is a torch bearer for the early ‘90s Los Angeles underground hip-hop scene. His set will begin at 8 p.m.

MOCA stays open until midnight on Saturday nights through August 11 for art-making, screenings, DJs, live music, spoken word, gallery tours, and a cash bar and light fare at Patinette Café.

After Dark is FREE with museum admission, $8 general, $5 for students with I.D. and seniors (65+), and FREE for children under 12 and MOCA members.

MOCA Grand Avenue is located at 250 South Grand Avenue in the heart of downtown Los Angeles with convenient access from the 101 and 110 Freeways and easy surface street access from Mid-City via Wilshire Boulevard or from Silver Lake via Sunset Boulevard.
