# Fairmont fundraiser supports foster youth

Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis joined Happy Trails for Kids' "Taste of Camp" fundraiser on Oct. 9 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel. The event, hosted by ABC7's Jory Rand, launched the "133 Acres of Hope" campaign to renovate a Los Angeles County-gifted property in Acton. The expansion will transform Happy Trails from serving hundreds to thousands of foster youth annually, creating the nation's largest foster care camp. The evening features tastings from top Southern California restaurants and spirits. Donations support building permanent facilities for year-round camp and mentorship programs.
