# Fall school option symposium

SMMUSD Superintendent Dr. Ben Drati and Board of Education will host a virtual Health Symposium on Tuesday to discuss Fall reopening options.

  
SMMUSD is offering in-person or independent study options this year.  
Guests will include:

  
Dr. Jamie Lloyd-Smith, UCLA Professor, Dept of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Studying COVID-19 Aerosol and Surface Stability.

  
Dr. Rita Kachru, UCLA Health, Associate Professor and Section Chief, Clinical Immunology and Allergy. SMMUSD Health & Safety District Advisory Committee Member.

  
Dr. Will Nicholas, Director, Center for Health Impact Evaluation, LA County Department of Public Health.
