The Santa Monica Police Department responded to a fatal Hit & Run traffic collision at 10th and Pico Bl on Saturday, November 13th at approximately 8:05 p.m.
The details of the collision are still being investigated, however preliminary findings indicate an unidentified male pedestrian was crossing the street when he was struck by a white vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene.
A second vehicle hit the victim when he was down on the roadway. That vehicle stopped to assist and has cooperated with our investigators.
The pedestrian was pronounced on scene by SM Fire personnel.
Victim is male in his 50’s.
