On February 19, 2019 at about 10 p.m.
An officer responded to a radio call for service in the 900 block of Georgina Avenue regarding a suspicious person trying to open a vehicle door. The subject was seen trying to open a door to a vehicle parked in a resident’s driveway. The subject was not able to open the door and walked away east on Georgina Avenue. The officer met with resident/reporting party and was able to view a surveillance video. The officer searched the area for the subject and located him in the 800 block of 12th Street. The officer searched the vehicle and located a flashlight, a device to shatter glass, and gloves. Aaron Desiah Powell, 18, from Fontana, was arrested for possession of burglary tools. Bail was set at $500.
