Ocean League champ Santa Monica will host Channel Islands Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section Western Division Playoffs, it was announced on Sunday.
Crosstown St. Monica, which finished second in the Santa Fe League, will travel to California City on Friday in Northeast Division play. It is the second playoff appearance in a row for St. Monica.
