Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. will host its annual Halloween celebration Friday, Oct 31, bringing trick-or-treating and family activities to the city's business district from 3 to 6 p.m.
The free community event features trick-or-treating at participating businesses throughout downtown and a Halloween party on the 1300 block of Third Street Promenade. Organizers plan to release a complete map of trick-or-treating locations closer to Halloween.
The celebration centers around a pumpkin patch with hay bales in Center Court, offering families a seasonal gathering space at no cost. Children can participate in pumpkin decorating, games, temporary tattoos and face painting while enjoying free treats throughout the afternoon.

Pet owners can join the festivities with their costumed animals during a dressed-up pet walk. A dedicated pet table near photo opportunity areas will accommodate four-legged participants in the Halloween fun.
