A Sunday rally brought several hundred protesters to Palisades Park as part of an international movement against pandemic restrictions. The rally incorporated multiple causes including recalling Newsom, opposition to masks / vaccines and several prayer services. While SMPD warned of potential violence, the rumored counter-protesters were absent from the event and conflict was limited to scattered verbal arguments between individuals.
