Crash: The Santa Monica Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to an accident on the 10 freeway Wednesday morning. The driver lost control of the car, hit a light pole and began driving up the embankment. The car eventually came back down and stopped with the driver side door pinned closed. Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the car due to the situation but she was unhurt.
