Enjoy the power of five, yep, five Samohi bands at once today at Barnum Hall.

**Samohi bands unite**

Santa Monica High School, Barnum Hall

601 Pico Blvd., 7 p.m.

All five of Santa Monica High School’s bands will come together for a night of music at Barnum Hall. The finale will feature a rare combination of all five large ensembles: the Samohi Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Concert Band, Concert Winds, and Viking Marching Band. **‘Hoboken to Hollywood’**

Edgemar Center for the Arts

2437 Main St., 8 p.m.

“Hoboken to Hollywood: A Journey Through The Great American Songbook” has been extended through Feb. 27\. This popular musical is a behind-the-scenes look at the taping of a television special, possibly in 1964 or soon thereafter. It even includes spoofs on commercials. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. the Calvary Baptist Church is hosting an Interfaith Prayer Breakfast. Suggested donation is $25.
