Gelson’s Markets, voted best supermarket in the west by Consumer Reports, is reintroducing "Gelson's Farmers Market" events hosted weekly on Saturdays at seven locations throughout Southern California including Santa Monica. Each location will feature varied fresh and locally sourced produce where growers will be on hand to meet customers.
The series will take place for nine weeks starting June 1 and events will happen every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at specified locations.
Founded in 1951, Gelson’s currently operates 27 full-service specialty grocery stores in Southern California.
