# Global warming: Hot or not?

This Sunday, The Lois Lambert Gallery and the Gallery of Functional Art will host an “Ecospective” lecture presented by Carl Salas, a Bay Area-based engineer who works with energy-efficient power systems. At the talk, Salas will discuss global warming, renewable energy, environmentally friendly vehicles, and more. Audience members with questions are welcome. The Gallery is located at 2525 Michigan Ave. E3, Santa Monica. The lecture will be 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2\. For more information, please call (310) 829-6990.

It’s purity season
