On January 31, at about 7:19 a.m.

While patrolling near the McDonalds at 1540 2nd Street, officers saw a subject laying out CD's on the short concrete wall in an attempt to sell them without a permit in violation of the municipal code. Officers identified the subject and determined he had two warrants for his arrest, one out of Glendale PD and another out of LAPD. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrants. A search of the subject led to the recovery of a .22 caliber round of ammunition in his right front pocket. The subject was a previously convicted felon and not allowed to carry ammunition. The subject was transported to SMPD Jail for booking. Thomas Jacob Krummel, 48, from Granada Hills, was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition and outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $75,000.
