A local chef and restaurant owner will be highlighted this weekend at the 30th Annual Home Remodeling and Decorating Show.

Attendees will celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Irish Pavilion featuring food, entertainment and authentic goods direct from the Emerald Isle, including cooking demonstrations by Gerri Gilliland of Finn McCool's Irish Pub on Main Street.

Gilliland will whip up Irish stew and soda bread. Caterer-to-the-stars Randy Fuhrman will showcase all green foods for St. Patrick's Day, featuring Luck of the Irish Pesto, St. Patty's Day salad, Every Leprechaun's Favorite Creme de Menthe Truffles, and more.

There will be hundreds of home improvement exhibitors and thousands of new products, services and ideas. Kitchens, floors, windows, doors and everything from roofs to rose gardens.

The event will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center, Kentia Hall, 201 S. Figueroa St., from Friday to Sunday. Times are Friday at noon until 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
