Homeless man arrested for possession of brass knuckles, meth, more

On February 9, at about 4;38 p.m.

While patrolling the area of 7th Street and Wilshire Blvd, officers recognized a male subject from previous contacts and having an active Stay Away Order from the downtown business district. Officers stopped the subject and placed him under arrest for being in violation of the Stay Away Order. A search of the subject led to the recovery of methamphetamine, a narcotics smoking pipe and brass knuckles. Timothy Michael Hess, 42, homeless, was arrested for possession of brass knuckles, possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and violation of a court order. Bail was set at $20,000.
