On May 10 at about 10:02 a.m., Santa Monica police officers were on patrol checking an area along the 1900 block of the eastbound Interstate 10 freeway.
Officers contacted a suspect for several municipal code violations. The suspect was previously warned about similar violations.
Officers discovered the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. Crain Allen Speaks, 46, homeless, was arrested for outstanding warrants. Bail was set at $300.
