This past week, Q-Line wanted to know: “What should your elected leaders focus on as their goals for the upcoming year?”

Here are your responses:

“Great question! I feel the council needs to focus on the real truth about fluoridation and not solely on the information being presented to them by the fluoride mafia. Fluoride is a very controversial issue, and if it’s so good for all living subjects, why are countless numbers of cities rejecting it, and many removing it, after years of having fluoride in their city water supplies. At this point in history, the fluoride pushers have to go after new accounts for all the ones they are losing. Has fluoride done more harm than good to our nations health? Claims are that the poor need it. Are the poor going to constantly sit around and drink tap water to end their dental problems? I don’t think so. I’m not poor or rich, just of average income, and do not believe fluoridation is the answer.”

“Our so called leaders should focus on getting rid of all the bums. They are like vermin who have infested the city. I am forced to move away from here because I can’t stand it anymore. This is the most outrageous situation I have ever seen.”

“My suggestion to your question is, for next year, how to change Santa Monica’s one party political system, into a more democratic two party system. Thanks.”

“With respect to the Q-line, my response is fair, or be fair, honesty, certitude, disclosure.”

“It is time for our elected leaders to pull the plug on public drunkenness. It does not serve any acceptable purpose having a person who is passed out, laying on a sidewalk, due to the over-indulgence of alcoholic beverages. This sidewalk snoring has continued over the years due to a few bleeding hearts and sob sisters, believing condoning bad behavior and law-breaking is acceptable or the least costly way of coping with the problem. These sidewalk Rip Van Winkles appear to be orchestrated into prone positions where the foot traffic is the heaviest, not to pan-handle but just to lay there in a drunken stupor. Not all homeless people do this, only a few. Is there an evil force at work? Now is the time for elected officials to administer the hard touch of tough love to elevate these few alcoholic hard-heads back to sobriety.”
