CITYWIDE Those who want to honor the memory of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks are encouraged to join Santa Monica fire fighters Saturday morning at one of four stations.

Those who want to honor the memory of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks are encouraged to join Santa Monica fire fighters Saturday morning at one of  four stations.

A remembrance ceremony will begin promptly at 6:45 a.m. and should last no longer than 20 minutes, fire officials said.

The attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa. resulted in the deaths of more than 2,700 people. Of those killed, 343 were New York City fire fighters.

Ceremonies will take place at the following fire stations:

• Station 1, 1444 Seventh St.

• Station 2, 222 Hollister Ave.

• Station 3/4, 1302 19th St.

• Station 5, 2450 Ashland Ave.
