A celebrity basketball game is scheduled for Saturday at Santa Monica College to benefit business education in South Los Angeles.

Dubbed the first annual David Bing Academy of Finance Celebrity Basketball Game and Red Carpet event, the game is a fundraising effort that will benefit a new South Los Angeles school’s business and finance curriculum.

Organizers have confirmed a roster of players that reads like a who’s who of sports and entertainment. Expected to play are: Mike Epps, Anthony Anderson, Bryon Russell (NBA), Mitch Richmond (NBA), music producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, rapper The Game, Pooch Hall, Baltimore Ravens running back Willie McGahee, Camille Winbush (“Bernie Mac Show”), Omar Gooding (“Baby Boy”), music producer L.T. Hutton, Jarron Gilbert (NY Jets), Willie McGinest (NFL) and Boxing Great Terry “Terrible” Norris.

The game will take place at the Corsair Pavilion Gym. Festivities begin at 3 p.m. with the game taking place at 5 p.m.
