An award-winning independent horror-comedy film is bringing its theatrical tour to Los Angeles for a five-night engagement from Oct. 8-12.

"Vampire Zombies...From Space!" will screen at four Laemmle Theatre locations — Monica Film Center, NoHo, and two showings in Glendale — plus Gardena Cinema as part of the production's "Drac Attack Tour."

The film features notable appearances by Lloyd Kaufman, founder of Troma Entertainment and creator of "The Toxic Avenger," Judith O'Dea, who played Barbara in the classic "Night of the Living Dead," and David Liebe Hart from "Tim & Eric."

Described as having a tone that combines Mel Brooks with South Park, the film delivers what producers call "irreverent, practical-gag mayhem." The production has garnered international recognition with more than 20 festival awards.

The Los Angeles engagement represents a major stop on the film's national tour, which launched in Detroit on Oct. 2. The tour continues through Cleveland, Portland, Indianapolis, Toronto and additional cities.

Cast and crew members will be present in Los Angeles during the Oct. 8-12 run and are available for interviews and media coverage opportunities.

The Drac Attack Tour represents an unusual theatrical release strategy for an independent horror-comedy, bringing the film directly to audiences across multiple markets. The approach allows the production to build grassroots support while providing moviegoers with a theatrical experience typically reserved for major studio releases.

Full tour information and screening schedules are available at www.vampirezombiesmovie.com.

The film's success on the festival circuit has positioned it as a standout entry in the horror-comedy genre, combining practical effects with satirical humor that appeals to both horror enthusiasts and comedy fans.
