Editor: Mr. Gehry’s proposed hotel is out of place in Santa Monica (“Frank Gehry-designed hotel proposed for Ocean Avenue,” March 1, page 1). Santa Monica is not New York, Philadelphia, or Bilbao. The Land Use and Circulation Element is a joke. We already have massive over-development and gridlock.
