# Is Your Business ADA Compliant? If Not It Could Cost You Thousands of Dollars

The Americans with Disabilities Act ensures everyone can enjoy equal access to employment, patronize businesses, and enjoy public facilities regardless of their physical or medical status. Unfortunately, bad actors can target well-meaning businesses with frivolous lawsuits under the ADA that can cost your business thousands of dollars in settlements, legal fees, and lost time and productivity.

This fight has increasingly moved online in recent years, with businesses being targeted specifically for their websites.

The Chamber of Commerce will be putting together an ADA compliance webinar with one of their Chamber board members--Beth Schroeder, attorney with Raines Feldman.
