# It’s time to cut to Chase

Chase Allen brings his blend of R&B, soul and experimental music to Temple Bar this weekend. The Huntington Beach product was named Best R&B singer at the 2006 “Orange County Music Awards,” with his soul-bearing style shining through on such songs as “Echoes” and “Lying Awake.”

Sharing Saturday’s bill with Allen are Girth and DJ Anthony Valadez. Allen takes the stage at 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 9 p.m. Temple Bar is located at 1026 Wilshire Blvd. Cover charge is $10\. MT
