The Japanese arcade pop-up store Gacha & Catch will reopen March 14 at 1451 Third Street Promenade with new merchandise, including an exclusive Sonic & Friends collection.

The store, a joint project between Japan Entertainment One Inc., TOMY Company Ltd. and SEGA Corporation, features UFO Catcher claw machines and Gacha capsule toy vending machines.

During its initial run from November 2025 to February 2026, the store drew praise as an immersive experience showcasing Japanese arcade culture.

The reopening will feature a North American-exclusive Sonic & Friends merchandise collection available in limited quantities, including plush toys, face cushions, wearable mascot plushies, pouches and accessories. Additional items include the Acrylic Nuigurumi series, Acrylic Doll moving acrylic stands and Showy-Gacha backpacks shaped like Gacha machines.

The store will also offer officially licensed Japanese character figures, plush toys and blind box items.

Grand reopening incentives include a free limited-edition Sonic & Friends poster for customers spending $60 or more. Three exclusive poster designs are available while supplies last. Customers will also receive one token for every $30 spent, with a limit of two per person daily.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
