To the Editor:
What sad news it is that the Spitfire Grill is soon to close. My husband and I, along with many friends, have considered it our neighborhood pub for decades.
Even though the food is reliably good, what makes this restaurant special is the waitstaff. They are warm, friendly, efficient and dedicated to their jobs.
It is my hope that once renovation is completed and The Cloverfield is open for business Sean Martin will bring back the Spitfire crew.
