A recently completed UCLA air monitoring study will be the topic today in West Los Angeles as lawmakers come together to discuss the findings.

The forum, “The Science of Santa Monica Airport Air Pollution,” will be moderated by L.A. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl. California Assemblyman Ted Lieu, 53rd District, and L.A. City Councilmember Jan Perry will also be in attendance.

The public will have an opportunity to comment and ask questions.

Professor Suzanne Paulson, lead scientist for the recently published air monitoring study on aircraft emission impacts into North Westdale will be the key speaker.

The forum will take place today at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church located at 11555 National Blvd. in Los Angeles, 90064.
