With regards to Scott Snowden’s article

I think Scott’s article should show another view. There are significant dangers to the economy if the minimum wage is raised by such a radical amount. Where will the money come from to pay everyone $30 per hour? All prices will need to be increased. The higher minimum wage will also require either more taxes or significant reductions in employment in our government offices as the they too will be subject to this minimum wage. This will result in higher taxes.  This will significantly increase the cost of living and the $30 min wage will not be adequate to cover the cost of living again. What is the solution then? Continue to increase to minimum wage?

This upward spiral will not end until the entire economy crashes and there are few jobs for anyone.

The solution is to reduce taxes, government spending and government regulation. This will free up more money to help grow the economy which will put upward pressure on wages. Also, all people should try and improve their contributions to society by getting better educated and improving their skills. This will make them more valuable to society and will help them improve their wages.

Thank you for your time
